Intelligence Failures & Strategic Ignorance What’s Our Plan for China?

In this episode, Mr. Haugland discusses two issues to provide a strategic perspective on how we should conduct a Cognitive War against China: the illegal bioweapons lab in California and the failing Chinese economy. He then asks the obvious question — what’s our plan?

The first issue focuses on the continued lack of coverage, concern, and understanding by the American public of the ongoing threat created by the illegal bioweapons lab discovered in Reedley, California. He details the unanswered questions surrounding the discovery of this lab, the truly astounding incompetence and keystone cop approach by our government in mishandling this issue, and why he views this as just another massive intelligence failure. He then applies his four-point strategy to provide an approach to resolve this issue and avoid its repeat. He then moves on to discuss the failing Chinese economy, how it is inevitable that it will fail, and when it does, ask the pertinent question – what’s our plan?

Mr. Haugland parallels what we saw in the former collapse of the communist USSR with what is happening in China. He asks why we do not have a concerted strategy, strategic messaging campaign, nor acknowledgment of the multiple weaknesses the USA can exploit to hasten the fall of the CCP and Xi’s dictatorship.

A few key questions he addresses include:

> Why should the illegal bioweapons lab be considered a major intelligence failure?

> Why isn’t the United States national security apparatus poised to take advantage of and amplify or accelerate the CCP’s multiple weaknesses?

> What is our plan to preclude other illegal labs or to aid China upon its collapse to a free set of republics?

Why is this important in this ongoing Cognitive War?

Because we must move from a reactive to a proactive posture, understand that the primary battlespace is cognitive, not kinetic, and that to achieve victory in this war, we must overhaul our national security apparatus. The time is short, and most of us are not aware of the existential threat posed by the Cognitive War and, therefore, remain in a reactive posture, engaging, moving on offense, and winning some of these battles.

Haugland applies the four-point strategy he details in his book to these two issues in this episode to help others learn how they can also apply this strategy in their battle.

1 – Seize the Narrative – how do we seize the narrative from the dystopian left?

2 – Proactive & Positive Legislative Agenda – what policy or laws would cause them to react to or draw back, and what policies are required to fix our current situation?

3 – Overhaul National Security – what kind of expertise, capacity, and capabilities do we need to overhaul National security apparatus?

4 – Ensure the Resiliency of our Republic, Constitution, and Freedoms – what can we do to advance education, civics, and strengthen understanding of history to realize we are in fact privileged to live in freedom etc.
