The Impacts of Cognitive War on America

By Edward Haugland

I have written and spoken about Cognitive War for the last several years, including publishing the only comprehensive description of this war taking place globally and domestically from theory to operations, and solutions. I am often asked how this war is impacting America. The variety of impacts are truly astounding. They are happening every day across our country, dismantling it piece by piece. Few others realize the scope, depth, and breadth of what is happening as they attribute what they see to politics.

As noted in my definition of Cognitive War[1], the use of ideology, religion, and issues provides the ways to influence, drive perceptions, deceive, and impact us. It is a war between good and evil, with evil seeking absolute power at any cost.

One can see impacts in our education system as it has been taken over and turned into an indoctrination system running from pre-school to the post-graduate level. What used to be law enforcement is being turned into a force that enables felons to pray at will on the innocent. What used to be a blind judicial system is being used as an insurrectionist and unconstitutional movement by a radical judiciary to usurp power from the executive and deny us our God given rights. What used to be safe spaces for boys or girls, are now being altered to allow pedophiles and perverts to gaze, grope, and assault. What used to be our deliberative body, the United States Senate, is no longer as radicals seek to ensure we no longer function in line with the Constitution. What used to be a military that respected the role of civilian leadership and took an oath to our Constitution, has been severely damaged through massive indoctrination, willful compliance in advancing woke ideologies, and remains replete with brown star award winners who willingly abrogated their oath for self-advancement. What used to be a nation that regularly condemned socialism, communism, and tyranny was globalized to accommodate those broken ideologies so as to advance them here in America.

The impacts are tremendous. We are now spending trillions of dollars to feed, house, educate and care for tens of millions of illegals. We see numerous mass shootings by trans activists who have been indoctrinated and then weaponized to advance gender dysphoria as normal. We see innocent people murdered daily on our highways by illegals who cannot read but were given driver’s license for ten-ton semi-trucks. We see other innocents stabbed in neck, pushed onto railways, assaulted, assassinated, and others murdered in the hundreds across woke progressive cities each week.

Evil has a strategy; it is methodically executed despite hiccups. It prays on those who fail to understand history. It is plain to see as this evil advance to be the mayor in New York City. The same evil has overtaken the Democrat party which is now a socialist communist fascist party. Socialism, communism, and fascism are but different points on the same circle of tyranny. All repeat bankrupt and utopian policies used to gain control and compromise key governing and security organizations and then are used to jail or murder hundreds of millions. The reality of the last few hundred years. Do you really think we are not next?

We can stop and reverse what is happening, but to do so we must first understand this is an actual war. It is a war that impacts the cognitive domain, the human mind, and abuses the inherent trust we have had in our institutions and leaders advance towards absolute power. It uses ideology (communism), religion (radical Islam), and issues (transgenderism) as ways to advance their power while taking advantage of every means possible.

Education, law enforcement, military, healthcare, homeland security, economic security, national security, national debt, housing supplies, energy supplies, weapons stockpiles, critical infrastructure, social media, international trade, rare earth supplies, medical and healthcare, parental rights, individual rights, and science are just a few areas impacted daily in this war.

Indoctrination. Failure to protect innocents. Decreasing readiness. Massive fraud. No borders. National debt skyrocketing. Imbedded terrorist cells. Lack of critical production, supplies, weapons. Loss of civil and constitutional rights. False science to control. You see it. Everyone sees it. These are real impacts occurring everyday in America that did not happen overnight.

Evil uses all these means to advance. It is confusing, as there are so many fronts in this war. It is not a kinetic war, yet thousands are dying daily, and we are losing our country. It is so evil that it causes the mind to close in horror of disbelief. Yet it is happening, it is real, and it is time for America to awaken. We have been fighting this war for centuries. It has been enabled greatly by advanced information technologies. We can win, but we must do so by fighting on each front to stop, reverse, and then rebuild what ground we have lost. It has taken decades to lose this much ground, and it will take decades to reclaim it. IF, and only if, we understand this is an actual war, a Cognitive War, then we can begin to win!

[1] I define the Cognitive War as: A primarily an ideological war, between tyranny and freedom, control and independence, subjugation, and democracy. It is a war fought primarily in the cognitive domain using strategies which apply various ways (e.g., ideology, religion, issues) and means (e.g., academic, economic, agriculture, social, etc.) to influence. In its most basic form, it is a war between good and evil. Cognitive war can and does include irregular warfare and kinetics.
