The roundtable of national security experts discusses key aspects of the Republican National Convention, including the speeches, themes, and President Trump’s speech to unite this nation. Alas, we provide our perspectives on the attempted assassination. The message we saw helped to advance a better awareness of America that Donald J. Trump is human, is humble, loves his family, and is proactive as he draws a stark contrast between his vision of faith, family, and opportunity versus the Democrats efforts to drive division, hate, and subjugation. The efforts to dehumanize him and his supporters are failing badly.

It was clear throughout the convention that the GOP agenda places God, Faith, Country, and Unity at the forefront of what makes America great! Vice the divisive, victimhood, and vilification of the Democrat’s agenda and policies.

The message was clear, focusing on a policy agenda that proactively lays out the differences between the dystopian left – which glorifies a socialist bureaucratic government as the leader of people they see serving the government. This versus conservatives – who place God as the center and where the government is by, for, and of the people served by patriotic public servants. President Trump’s humble and direct message spoke to his faith and trust in God and placed God back where he belongs – at the center of our lives.

For those who’ve listened to this crew before, if you’re looking for consensus, it isn’t happening here, as you’ll quickly hear some rather provocative viewpoints from our experts as emotions take hold, logic intrudes, and we agree to disagree on various aspects of world events. It was a riveting discussion, to be sure.

The roundtable did agree on one major point – that this is not the end, but a precursor of what is to come next, as we see this as a blood sport for absolute power – and the radical left will stop at NOTHING to keep power. Be prepared, awake, and armed with this knowledge as we must all exercise our full Constitutional rights to defend America.

The outstanding roundtable of our National Security Hour hosts includes the TwoMikes – Col. Mike and Dr. Mike, LTG Tom McInerney (USAF ret.), MG Paul Vallely (USA ret.), Mary Fanning and me – Ed Haugland – as we recap the four themes, speeches, message, and assassination attempt. To remind our listeners – the four key themes of the convention (copied from the RNC website) are:

  • Make America Wealthy Once Again– During the first Trump administration, America experienced an unprecedented economic boom. President Trump’s America First economic policies slashed cumbersome regulations, cut tax rates, and reworked trade deals to create a fairer playing field for American industry and workers. Under the Biden-Harris administration, all of this progress has stalled or reversed – real wages for American workers are lower than before Biden took office. Meanwhile, inflation and high energy prices, thanks to Biden’s Green New Deal-inspired, anti-drilling agenda, have made everyday life unaffordable for working-class Americans. The second Trump administration will turn the page on the mindless “Bidenomics” agenda and usher in a new age of prosperity.
  • Make America Safe Once Again– Once iconic American cities and communities have become hollowed out, dystopian nightmares thanks to Joe Biden and Democrats’ “woke” soft-on-crime and open border policies. In Joe Biden’s America, unvetted illegal aliens and deranged criminals are free to roam the streets and terrorize everyday Americans, all while law enforcement is demonized. Cartels have overrun our border, flooding our neighborhoods with enough deadly fentanyl and methamphetamine to kill every American multiple times over. President Donald J. Trump will stand up for our law enforcement and put an end to the senseless crime spree and drug flow that plague America.
  • Make America Strong Once Again– Under Joe Biden, the weakest commander-in-chief in our country’s history, America has become a global laughingstock. From our dumpster fire of a southern border to the botched Afghanistan withdrawal to the Hamas-Israeli war to enabling the Iranian terrorist regime, Biden has repeatedly made the wrong move on the world stage. Under President Trump’s vision, America will once again be strong and secure and put an end to the Biden-Harris administration’s weakness. President Donald J. Trump will secure our borders, curb Chinese and Iranian threats, and restore America’s rightful standing on the world stage.
  • Make America Great Once Again– President Donald J. Trump will usher in a new golden age for America. At home and abroad, America’s standing will be restored. American families will once again experience prosperity, safety, and strength. Our decaying and decrepit cities and communities will experience a resurgence. Americans will once again have reason to harbor hope and optimism for the future of our country. President Trump will Make America Great Once Again!
