In this episode, my guest, the senior intelligence advisor Edward Haugland, and I will discuss several topics, focusing on CCP’s massive influence and application of unrestricted warfare tactics.

In a recent report by The Sun, CCP is using an “elite” army of spies to hunt down and recruit Brits from UK unis to steal secrets. Using a three-pronged approach of ”The Hunt – The Catch – The Execution,” Chinese spies “befriend” students studying degrees such as engineering or IT and offer them glitzy trips to China – before convincing them to spill UK secrets.

What are the similarities and differences compared to what happened during the Cold War?

In the previous episode, we discussed the intelligence about Hamas militant leader Mohammed Deif (https://www.americaoutloud.news/beijing-backed-hamas-exposed-ccps-role-in-israel-hamas-war/). On Jan 6, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF), a photo of Deif was found on a computer that was seized in Gaza. “This was done through intense intelligence gathering by Israeli forces, where over 70 million intelligence files were downloaded from computers seized in Gaza.”

The photo shows him holding a stack of US dollars, which is probably a piece of evidence that Deif received money from CCP in a secret meeting (https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-781110). Meanwhile, more evidence found by Israel shows that the CCP cultivates and fully supports Hamas, as we revealed (https://www.americaoutloud.news/the-covert-connections-between-ccp-and-hamas/). Recently, IDF troops have encountered vast quantities of weapons manufactured by China being used in Gaza. Why does IDF choose this photo of Deif and release it at this time? Is there any implication?

Edward Haugland is a retired federal Senior Executive and US Air Force veteran. His over four decades of service include serving as a senior leader in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Energy, and State. He’s served as the senior advisor to several IC agency heads, the Assistant Inspector General for Inspections for the Intelligence Community, the Chairman of CIA’s strategic planning, a Deputy team lead for the INF On-site nuclear arms inspections in the former Soviet Union, and as award-winning CIA intelligence analyst. He is currently an independent consultant focusing on cognitive warfare. He is also a regular host on The National Security Hour on the American Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
