Why the United States Is Losing the Cognitive War
In this episode, we discuss several areas related to the ongoing Cognitive War with Jonas Vesterberg. The importance of understanding how this war is being waged, the psychological operations (PsyOps) involved, how the adversaries – both global and domestic – use chaos, confusion, and terror to make others feel helpless and alone, and overloading the senses with multiple dilemmas is purposeful. Their objective has nothing to do with ideology, religion, or specific issues – those are only the ways they use to convince you to buy their utopian visions, believe they are your savior or benefactor, where they have a much more nefarious design and desired outcome – absolute power.
Each week, we discuss varied strategic perspectives, analyses, and assessments on the ongoing Cognitive War. I’ve detailed the background and definition of this war, its underlying theory, how we should be conducting operations, and layout several seminal solutions to enable us to compete and win in this war in my just published book titled “The Cognitive War – Why We Are Losing and How We can Win” where you’ll get insights from 4 decades inside national security and why we must overhaul our national security apparatus to compete in this war with China, with Russia, and domestically with the radical progressive left.
Jonas and I discuss our recent article Who Directs America’s War on Its Own Population? In this episode, Jonas Vesterberg and I discuss the ongoing Cognitive Warfare but focus on three key areas that relate to his background and expertise:
- Architecture and design of enemy psyops
- Resisting disintegration operations
- Cognitive overload and pacification
